It is not giving me an option to select whatsapp messages for notifications on fitbit. 
I am aware that the app notifications need to come up on your phone for it to show ip on the app. WhatsApp messages have come through on my phone.

Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing some troubles with the WhatsApp notifications setup process. 

In order to receive WhatsApp, you have to set them in "text messages" notifications. To do so, please read and follow the steps shown in the following help article: How do I set up notifications?
