This may have been discussed a while ago.
I've has my Versa 4 for nearly 2 years and I'm finding I'm charging it every other day.
Yes, I've turned off this and that but it still gives flat very quickly.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I've checked things out and all seems as it should be.
Last night I went to bed with the watch showing 72%, when I woke, it was showing 40%. A couple of hours later I went out but the watch had 'died' totally, so I just left it behind charging.
I tried to switch it on, but nothing happened for several minutes. Then the screen showed the fitbit symbol on a black background for a moment then went to the opposite. A pale blue background and a black fitbit image. This went on for a minute or so, then nothing.
I tried to power it on as per guidance and for the last half hour, every 5 -6 seconds, the fitbit image appears then goes out after 5-6 seconds.
Is it 'Goosed' as we say, or knackered in other words?
Not good after less than 2 years usage. And when I say usage, I wouldn't call it to be excessive.

Maria,
I had a session last night on the fitbit chat and I think we are getting the issue resolved.
The mad thing is, that a friend of my wife's has just been visiting us and she also has a Versa 4 and guess what? Since a recent update, her battery is also draining much more quickly than it was.
Thanks.
W. Force.

Result.
Thanks Fitbit.
They asked me to send my Versa 4 using a label they sent me. Two days later, I got a replacement.

@MarreFitbit As I now have a new fitbit Versa 4. I note that the version under System is shown as 61.20001.194.86. I have no idea what the version was on my previous Versa 4, but actually wonder I had updated that watch and therefore wonder if this caused the issues I had. I note elsewhere that there is reference to a new version.
I note also that the fitbit app tells me there is a new firmware update available.
I'd like your thoughts on how to progress this. Will I end up with the same battery issue as I had previously?

@MarreFitbit Hi, maybe you haven't seen my previous posting.
Any thoughts?
I note that with the current software version as posted, I am getting over a week, maybe into a 9th day of battery life.
