Versa 4 battery draining quickly

What is up with the sudden battery life drains with our Fitbits??? Me and my wife both have fitbits (Versa 4 and Versa 3) and about the same exact time (approximately late April) the battery life started draining EXTREMELY FAST.. BOTH of our fitbits used to last 5+ days without charging, including exercising and walks everyday.

This isn't a coincidental "hardware issue". Being a tech support/professional myself it was definitely after a "software update" to our watches. And Fitbit isn't acknowledging this..

Now, BOTH of our watches drain to 0% in under ONE DAY. Just now, I charged my watch to 100% by 8am, and now I'm looking at it and it's at 88% 10 minutes later. And again, this just started happening to both of us at the same exact time. We don't subject our watches to any moisture, heat or damage and take very good care of them.

This has been my 5th fitbit and I never experienced sudden battery drain like this and again, everyone is complaining about this since about the same time!

Come on Google / Fitbit please acknowledge all of our complaints. This is serious.

(P.S. during writing this post my battery just drained another 2% and hers 5% without doing anything)

Update: My battery life is now down to 72% as of 10am. It was 100% two hours ago and we haven't done anything as of yet.. And hers is down to 80% already

Hi, @geminiman7 - one way to check your is to run it in standalone mode, this means turning off Bluetooth on the phone in the first instance, and make sure you have no other devices running the Fitbit App.

This will isolate the Fitbit App as the cause.

If this doesn't help, also try changing clock face and verify with a pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings that Always On hasn't been enabled.
