Hello!
So my husband had the trial 6 month subscription on his Versa 4, and he only needed to charge it every 6 days or so. Ever since the subscription ended, his battery is draining much faster--down to 2 days on a full charge.
I have a subscription to fitbit and have never had a battery issue in 3 years (inspire).
Can this legitimately be the cause of his battery draining faster?

Hi there, @ernen. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!
Regarding your inquiry, please note the Fitbit Premium subscription has nothing to do with the Fitbit device's battery life or with its performance.
As with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that he shouldn't use them, please take into consideration the conditions that impact the watch's battery.
If you haven't done so yet, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

@janmarbol Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing battery issues with your Fitbit device.
As a first approach, please bear in mind that as all rechargeable batteries age, they deteriorate to some extent and an older device will need to be charged more often than a new one. The best way of minimizing this effect is to avoid deep discharges of the battery. To maximize the overall life of your Fitbit device's battery, ideally keep it between 20-80%. Many people find that a daily battery boost works best ( e.g. giving it a 15 minutes charge while you are showering in the morning). For more tips and recommendations, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
If your Fitbit device looks like is not charging at all, please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Fitbit device I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
