Versa 4 battery issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa 4 is around 18 months old. Charge used to last +/-6 days. Recently charge is only lasting 3 days. Nothing else has changed. And then when I do charge it, after 2 hours it has only charged from roughly 20% to 50%. If I turn it off and on, charge suddenly says 95%. Please don't tell me to turn down brightness, etc. I have had the same settings since day 1. It's the ability to hold a charge and recharge that has suddenly changed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Activejunkee - there can be issues with what the watch reports as it's charge.

Try holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.

If this is not working, sync and do a Shutdown from the watch settings menus.

Check the terminals are properly clean before recharging it to restart it and sync sgain to get the time right.

Only use the pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings to verify the battery level.

Thanks for your response. I had already done all of those things and only use the pull down as you described.  As an update the watch was charged over a 3.5 hr period to get it to 100% we'd morning and drained and died by thurs morning. This is clearly not normal operation

@Activejunkee - unfortunately it seems the watch might have a fault if it takes over 2 hours to fully charge.

That said try changing clock face.

To check the watch further do a standalone test.

This means turning off Bluetooth on any devices running the Fitbit App and see if it makes a difference. This isolates the Fitbit App syncing/not syncing properly as the cause.

I appreciate your feedback. I believe you are right about the watch having a fault and am extremely disappointed in the life of this product. Not the lifespan I expected from the watch.
