Versa 4 blank screen

My Versa 4 stopped working a few days ago, and stopped syncing on September 11th other than steps. It has a black screen. If I wear it, it still is somehow tracking steps and will sync, but there is no screen. I have tried everything that is suggested by fitbit and in the forum. This seems to be a widespread issue. What is Fitbit going to do about it?

Hi there, @Runnergirl7272. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 4 is still blank. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

It sounds like your Versa 4 ran out of battery. Have you tried recharging it? Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging. If your Versa 4 is still not charging, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

@Runnergirl7272 Thanks for letting me know that you've tried those steps already.

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Versa 4. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.
