I can't do anything with the button of my Versa 4. It's not stuck, so it's pulling up and down, may not be smoothly, but it's not responding and no action is executed. I purchased it in December 2022.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @arinm!
Sa to hear that your Versa 4 isn't working as expected. I'd suggest trying to restart it by keeping the button of your device pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo on it's display.
If that won't work for you, please let the battery of your Versa 4 drain completely to the point where your device will shut down. Then give it a full charge what will take longer than usual.
If you're completely out of luck trying to get your Versa 4 back to normal operation, I'd recommend contacting Fitbit support for further assistance:
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks for your reply @Talahthas.
I already tried 1st option you have suggested and it didn't work. I will wait for the battery to be drained out and try the 2nd option. I'll keep things posted here.

Hi @arinm - you can also try, after syncing and charging fully, if you can pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings, select Settings and at the bottom Shutdown. Wait at least 10 seconds.
Then try holding the button for 2 seconds to start it or place it on charge again to start it if the button is still not working.

Thanks @Guy_ , I will definitely try this. But what if it doesn't restart at all? I have bitter experience with Fitbit Versa Lite, I purchased one in January 2020 which stopped working in July 2020, got a free replacement in December 2020 and the new one lasted for only around two years.

So the battery drained out last weekend. I put it in the charger, the fitbit icon blinked for a few times and a big red cross appeared in the clock face. It seemed the clock restarted after I pressed the button, however after fully recharged, the button is still not responsive to any other action.

Once again thanks for reporting back, @arinm!
As you've mentioned that your Versa 4 is showing a red cross on it's display I'd suggest trying to see if changing the clock face on your device to a different one will get things fixed. Just in case, here's how to do that:
How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
Please make sure to keep your Versa 4 and your phone within Bluetooth range until this process is completed. If your Versa 4 is working fine afterwards, you can switch it's clock face back to the one you've wanted to use before.

Best Answer@arinm & @Talahthas - I have exactly the same problem. No button. Random big red X pops up. Tried all the suggestions here with no luck. I'll wait a few days and see what happens.
