My watch calories burned is incorrect, I can switch my watch off for days and when I put it on, I'll walk 15 steps and it says I've burnt a ridiculous amount of calories
All updates have been done, not sure why this is so inaccurate
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

@Ché6 Hi there. Your Fitbit is designed to automatically calculate your BMR, which is the calories your body burns while being at rest. Our bodies are always using energy (calories) just in effort to keep us alive. This is why you will see calories burned even on days you don't wear your Fitbit or when you haven't taken many steps. For more info, please see this help article.

Good to see you participating in the community @Ché6.
Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding calories.
So far I haven't found better explanation that the one @Heather-S provided above.
If by any case and after doing exercise you see the amount of calories burned innacurate, I'd recommend checking your personal information to see if your weight and height are properly set. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?
Thanks for helping @Heather-S.
