Hi,
I am replacing my old versa 4 with a brand new one--versa 4 fitness smartwatch. I thought I paired it with my fitbit app, received the code and got a check that it had paired. I have not worn my old fitbit since December but the account has old information. After I paired the new fitbit, it showed that I had burned off 1,033 calories and I haven't worn the fitbit as of yet. How do i get rid of the old information from the old fitbit?
Thanks

Hi @mommachams burned calories exists because you have a Fitbit account and it knows you're alive, breathing and burning calories, even if you aren't having the device count your steps. the article for deleting your information is here - click to read.

@Odyssey13 Thank you for your help and info.
@mommachams , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.
Just jumped in to add to Odyssey13 's info.
While you create your account you have to input your personal data (Height, weight, age, etc) based on that info . Fitbit calculates your basal metabolic rate (BMR).The rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned. If your device tracks heart rate, your heart-rate data is also included, especially to estimate calories burned during exercise. The number you see on your Fitbit device is your total calories burned for the day.
