Versa 4 doesn't have apps

Have been a Fitbit customer for about 7 years or so. Owned a Charge hr, Inspire HR, Luxe, and a few days ago my friend gave me his Versa 4 he doesn't use. Always wanted a fitbit smartwatch so I was eager to set it up. After setting it up, I went to the app store and saw no apps. Can someone tell me how I can get the app store? I am looking for a calculator app, and a golfing app as well to track swings

Hi there, @penn-73. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration. I understand how excited you are now that you got a Versa 4 and how important it is to you to install those apps.

Nevertheless, please note that third party apps cannot be installed on Versa 4 or Sense 2 as on other Fitbit devices. Even though we truly appreciate that you've taken the time to come here and share your thoughts about this, please note at this time there are no plans to implement this feature on Versa 4.

We rely on feedback like yours to help us develop products and features that we know our community wants to see. Visit our FAQs to learn more about how Fitbit decides which suggestions get developed or implemented.

But why though? Original Versa to Versa 3, along with the Ionic, a watch from 2017 can do it just fine, but the flagship newest smartwatch from Fitbit can't? Sounds to me that Google is trying to eliminate the Fitbit brand all together by eliminating features the entire community wants, and reserving it for their $300+ smartwatches. Huge disappointment. Also, I am looking around the Fitbit community, and found countless articles from people wanting apps on their Versa 4 and Sense 2 watches. Clearly you guys know what the community wants, but instead of adding things like apps, or offline music support, you guys must be too busy pushing out updates that cause my Fitbit and many others to freeze, cease to sync with their mobile devices, and other activities. So please listen to your community instead of trying to force us to buy your overpriced Google smartwatches and focus on the Fitbit brand. Please.
