Versa 4 screen/clock face issues after the update

Since the latest update my Versa 4 has not been working properly.  When I click exercise,  the stats disappear and the only way to stop an exercise is to completely shut down the fitbit which is highly annoying.

I have done all the normal things, turned things off and on, un paired, paired, checked for more updates...nothing has helped.  I have been using fitbit for over 10 years, I have never had so many isuses with an update.

Also, the clock face doesnt update (it is a photo one, never had an issue with it before).  It just shows a black screen.

Hi there, @Dragonbird. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 has stopped working properly after the update. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Thabk you, I appreciate you trying to help.  I have done these things as I previously mentioned,  and have just tried it again after you mentioned it.  The clock face is not fixed and as for the tracking exercise ossie, it once again did not work this morning.  I again had to completely shut down my fitbit to get it to stop the tracking exercise.

@Dragonbird Thanks for getting back and for trying those steps one more time.

Since all the steps you tried didn't work, you have a Versa 4 and report that the screen and clock faces are not working, I need additional information from you that would best be shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further.

This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done. Click here to get access to it.
