Versa 4 is a step backwards

My Versa 3 stopped working so I "upgraded" to Versa 4. But it is a a step backwards in most every regard.  Apps are limited and some of those do not function or don't even show up on the watch. Clock faces that were great on 3 are not available on 4. But worse is the intended method of changing clocks is erratic at best and usually doesn't work at all. Help article are inaccurate. One even said clock faces could not be changed if I have more than 38 apps loaded! Where would I get 38 apps.  In short, Versa 4 is not ready for primetime and was a huge step backwards.

I agree 👍 :hundred_points: totally!!! I'm thinking of returning & going back to my fitbit 2 since I  needed to get a new watch since the bands no longer would stay locked in on my fitbit 3 & was worried about losing it.

Hi @OGR8WZ1 - you are correct, some features from the Versa 3 have not been carried over.

Did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

Also the number of apps limit doesn't apply to a Versa 4 as you can't install additional one.

There was a firmware update which had the possibility to change clock faces on the watch but that version had too many problems and was discontinued.

Is there any chance it is Google phasing out Fitbit branded watches? I return my Versa 4 and I opted to pay the big bucks and got a Google Pixel Watch 2. Probably just what Google wanted. But I have a Google Pixel phone and figures that should be a good match. Time will tell !
