Why does the app only record some of my steps, yesterday it recorded 3400 approx but I did over 8600.
Watch is working fine, app seems to be a waste of time.
My phone is not added as a device

Hi there, @Lorrie333. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Fitbit app is not reflecting all your steps as your Luxe. I understand where your concern is coming from, I'll do my best to help you to sort this out!
As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your Luxe is syncing properly and when was the last time sync. If your Luxe has not synced recently, that would explain why your data is not fully transferred to the Fitbit app. To make sure your Fitbit device has recently synced, go to your Fitbit app and tap the Today tab, and then tap Devices.
If by any chance you run into syncing issues, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

@Lorrie333 Thanks for getting back and checking what I asked for. It's clear that your Versa 4 is not syncing, thus the data won't be accurate on the Fitbit app.
As suggested above, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

The same thing is happening to me with my steps and calories. It will be right on my watch but when I go to the app to sync the two, then the wrong data from the app syncs onto my watch. Hopefully we get answers soon!

Ugh that is annoying! The watch I have now, wasn’t even the first one I got. I had to exchange the first one because it had a big red X on it after using it a couple days and wouldn’t work anymore. I feel like they have a lot of things they need to fix with their watches. Hope you find a solution for yours!

My Versa 4 doesn't sync correctly either and the hourly graphical tracking is worthless. The steps, miles and floors sync correctly but the calories do not. The calories play "catch up" overnight but I'm not confident that the total is correct, and this is why:
I noticed something this morning when I went to sync at 10:00am. I looked at the Versa first and it showed around 1,100 calories which made sense as I had walked our dog over 2.5 miles. The Fitbit app showed 621 calories which also made sense since I had not synced it yet. When I synced it the steps, miles, and floors all synced. However, the calories synced in the opposite direction so that the Versa showed 621 calories. So I have lost almost 500 calories. And of course when you look at the hourly graphs they are meaningless. I NEVER had this problem with my One.
And I only use the functions on the Versa that were on the One.

Had to restart my phone this morning but only once today, still need to work out how to get notifications.
Hopefully eventually someone will sort it, not impressed and only been using it a month

I’m having similar issues! My Versa 4 normally has no issues tracking my stats but I’ve noticed over the past week that when I go to sync my device to the app the step count; floors; zone mins; milage; sleep etc all tracks seamlessly. After syncing the calories go backwards- on both my watch and app- normally I burn 2,800 calories on average but recently after syncing my calories go back wards and usually starts again in the early 1,000 calories burned. I have also noticed that my hourly activity is not being tracked either. I have an active job where I work outside and am on my feet for 10 hours and normally I hit my hourly activity for all 9 hours on work days but recently it states that I am active for one hour and stationary for 8 hours straight. I have turned off Bluetooth and turned it back on; reset my Versa; reset my phone; logged out and back into the app and I can’t seem to fix it.

Mine is doing the same. Watch seems to be working fine but when I tried to sync my data after midnight for the previous day it didn’t sync anything between then and my previous sync which was around 2pm. I tried restarting the watch and the app but this didn’t help. I then tried contacting the live chat who told me to update the app. This didn’t fix it either and when I told them that they just said give it a few days then ended the chat. I’m very disappointed

Have not had any problem today with syncing, 🤞 it stays that way.
Still not getting notifications but to be honest I can't be bothered to try and sort that at the moment and don't want to do anything that will stop the syncing from working again.
Not really impressed with the app, hopefully it will get better soon

Now my Versa isn't even tracking calories. As of about 6:00pm I have walked around 16.5k steps and 54 equivalent flights of stairs and my calories are showing that I have burned about 1.1k. This works out to about 62 calories per hour which is what I burn if I don't move. What is going on here?
And note that I have not synced my Versa today at all so the issue I noted in my earlier post is not part of this problem.
