Versa 4 is not tracking my data

My Versa 4 starting flashing green last night. No data for today showing on the phone or in the app. I have reset it but still nothing.

Hi there, @TheWoodturner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums.Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is still not tracking your data. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, I'd like to confirm whether the screen of your Versa 4 is also blank? Before considering other options, I'd like to recommend the following: 

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image. 
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi there

The screen of my Versa 4 is showing the time but no coloured lines or data. I have done the sync but nothing has happened on the Versa 4. Yesterday I had nothing on the app. However today the app has the data but not the watch.

@TheWoodturner Thanks for getting back to me and for the details provided. 

As per the description of your post, it seems like your Versa 4 has the "Always On" display enabled. This feature will only show you the time on the main screen all the time, unless you press the button of your watch to see other features and stats. If Always-On is enabled, to exit this mode, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?

This is very frustrating. Having changed the clock face, the watch synced. However, this morning all I can see is the time, but no heart rate and no steps… what else can I do please?
