Versa 4 is tracking too many floors

I’ve had my Versa 4 for about 6 months. It constantly counts a ridiculous amount of floors and I don’t have steps in my house. I was sitting most of the day yesterday in my home office and my Fitbit counted 47 floors! A lot of times, it won’t give me a sleep score, even if I toggle with the beginning sleep time and end sleep time. I have shut the Fitbit off, I have also done a factory reset. After doing the factory reset, I can’t get my Fitbit to sync with my iPad Air 3. It is constantly “Looking”. I am at a lost and would appreciate any advice!

Welcome to the forums @PKSC.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Versa 4.

There are many reasons why your device may give you credit for extra floors. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. For more information, see: Why does my Fitbit device count extra floors? You can also find more information about tracking activity in this help article: How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?

Please, restart your device as indicated in this article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I have restarted my device, turned Bluetooth on and off, reset factory settings and still am having problems. I can not understand sitting at a desk all day and seeing 47 floors counted on my device! After making all of these suggestions, my iPad still can’t find my Fitbit.
