I’ve had my Fitbit for about two months now, I bought it in November 2023 as an early Christmas present to myself. As of yesterday afternoon, the darn thing will not stay on. The screen worked fine throughout the day and was at 40% when I left work. I go to the gym to for my evening workout and when I went to activate the run option, the Fitbit was off. I did the 10 second hard reset as so many help forums suggested, but the screen would blip out not even a minute after the reset.
So last night I kept it on the charger. When I put it on this morning it was at 100%. I begin my morning routine and barely 5 minutes in the darn thing is off again. I pop it back on the charger. It turns on. 95% charge. I take it off the charger. It immediately turned off.
I’m at the point where I believe the product is faulty. I don’t know what else to do other than to submit a faulty claim. Help?

Hi @jormaroAnieth - when a watch develops a fault it can also heavily increase the battery drain.
Generally this will cause the watch to get hot especially when charging and if so stop immediately.
But quick drain is not a good sign and avoid wearing as there is a risk of burning.
Seek a replacement under warranty.

Update: I believe it’s a hardware/ battery issue now. I did a factory reset and then let the Fitbit charge to 100%. The moment I took it off the charger it turned off. Put it back on the charger and it’s on again but now showing 87% charge. Odd, but I’m definitely thinking battery issue now.

Update 2: I ended up contacting customer service and ultimately am approved for a replacement Versa 4.
Thank you to those who responded. Hopefully my post can help out others who are experiencing the same.
