My Fitbit has started counting over 100 floors every day when I only climb around 10. It's 8 am right now and it's already counted nearly 30 floors with most of them appearing being counted before I even woke up. Please tell me there is a way to fix this, this is the second watch I've had to buy after the first one broke randomly.

Hi there, @5arah-M. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Please note that your Fitbit device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. For more information, see Why does my Fitbit device count extra floors? You can also find more information about tracking activity in this help article How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
Said that, here are some of the possible causes for this inaccuracy:

Hi @5arah-M - when a watch starts counting such excessive number of floors [where previously it was fine] it has developed a fault.
If it is under warranty it can be replaced. In any case they can be ignored as they don't affect any other measurements. So even a replacement may not be worthwhile due to being without the watch for some time.
