I wake up with 10 floors. Today I have 460, yesterday 415, days prior to that ,, 244, 373, 14, 99, 488, 14, 10, 12, 10, 102, 67 , 482, 331. I have restarted it numerous times. What is the fix for this.

Hi @mickearl - firstly floors is only an information and doesn't affect other measurements.

Random floors can come from software glitches but more often a faulty pressure sensor which can fail in a number of ways, may be because of of water contact.

The watch can be replaced if in warranty.

However a factory reset would be suggested as a last resort but it is unlikely to resolve it and may cause other problems, like making the watch unusable, especially if the Fitbit App has problems.

We recently had a wind/rain storm that lasted overnight and after rain stopping, wind continued to gust up to 60kph. After waking up around 8:00 AM I noticed that my watch had recorded 1 floor. I live in a first floor one floor apartment. I started my morning walk downhill until at a street that starts the uphill at a left turn. I checked my watch and it read 4 flours. Up the first hill and then the second hill and on to another 6000 steps usually records a total of 20 floors when returned home. After this walk it reported 34 floors. I'd taken the same route and do this walk about 5 days a week and always record 20 floors. I assumed it was the barometric pressure that had been affected by the wind gusts and therefore affected the altimeter in the watch. It settled down when the wind slowed and stopped.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to fix. I am really disappointed in
this watch. I bought it in August.
