My Versa 4 is recording far too many steps even when I am sat down at my desk typing but I am not sure where to go to make it less sensitive and change dominant arm

Here's how to change on which wrist you're wearing your device:

To generally increase accuracy on step counting, your device needs to know your stride length. This can be done by using GPS or entering the stride length manually. More on that can be found under 'Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?' following this link:
