Purchased from ebay. The seller deleted it from their account but it still says it cannot pair as it was reported lost or as a warranty replacement.

Please try erasing your device as mentioned here:

If can't access your device's user interface, I'd suggest letting it's battery drain until it will shut off. Then give it a full charge which could take quite some time as the battery will be deep discharged at this point.
