I bought my Versa 4 2 months ago. Since the beginning, it has rebooted at unexpected times, usually in the middle of a workout or when the timer is set. Sometimes as many as 10 times a day. There hasn’t been a day when it hasn’t happened at least twice, and it usually happens when you really want your Fitbit to be working. I have changed the watch face, rebooted manually, and restored to factory settings. What can I do?

Hi there, @Jaffrog. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is crashing in the middle of a workout. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
If this is happening mostly when workingout, note that you might unintentionally press the button on your watch when you bend your wrist. This may happen during activities such as a workout that require you to move your wrist a lot. That being said, please try wearing your watch higher on your wrist to avoid hitting the button. For tips on how to wear your watch, see How do I wear my Fitbit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Thank you for responding. I can try that, but I don’t think that is what is happening. For instance I was just meditating and when I stopped, the watch was rebooting. I also already wear the watch fairly high up. Moving my wrist around does not affect the button. Although it always seems to happen during workouts or with the timer, it also happens sometimes during the night, sitting still, at work, etc.

Mine did this too, except mine is over 1 year old and the issue started very recently. It had been fine until now. I don't think it is a button issue unless the button is worn out and stays activated or something. It reboots a lot, and last time I thought it factory reset because it seemed to have lost some settings. But I checked and it is still on the firmware I had it on last, the one before the most recent update which I am delaying applying.
One thing I thought of, besides worn-out button, is that this happened shortly after I connected it to an Android phone (it had been connected to ancient iPhone). Then I switched back to having it connect to iPhone (force-quit fitbit app on the Android). So maybe it is confused by having been connected two phones (same fitbit account) and it crashes and that's why it reboots?
It had been working fine until very recently. Turning it off and back on did not seem to fix the issue.

Wearing the watch higher up did not fix the problem. It continues to reboot multiple times a day. Any other suggestions? Yesterday, it probably happens 20 times. Today has been better, more like 4. There does not seem to be a logic to it
