Versa 4 miles vs kilometers

For some reason, my versa 4 is now showing kilometers.  When I go into settings and switch it to miles, it stays for about 5 seconds and automatically goes back to kilometers.  I try quickly syncing but it doesn't give me time to do that.  It's so frustrating.  How can I get my settings to stay on miles and not automatically switch back to kilometers?
