I bought a Verse 4 yesterday and everything was working. Today my calls now text are coming through.

As @Guy_ said, from the clock face swipe down to check quick settings as shown below
The first two icons are Do Not Disturb and Sleep Mode. When the do not disturb setting is on notifications are muted. When the sleep mode setting is on notifications are muted.

Just to make sure, have you already set notifications by folowing the instructions in our help article How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? > How do I set up notifications? ?
If yes, then take a look at the tips suggested in the section "Why are notifications delayed or missing?" contained in the same help article.

My Versa 4 has won't sync since yesterday too. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it without luck. Versa 4 had issues with syncing in 2023 and I starting to believe it's going to need another update to fix it. Hopefully it don't take as long this time to get the fix and it did then. It may force me to switch brands.
