Versa 4 not counting steps when GPS is on

I added GPS to my Fitbit and now it won't count my steps, how do I get rid of GPS on my Fitbit so my steps will register again

Hello @Elowyn today I noticed your post. 

Are steps being counted? I don't understand your statement, I added GPS to the Versa 4. GPS is a hardware device and is built in.

By default GPS is turned on for walk, hikes, runs, bike, and outdoor workout. 

It is also only during a recording of an exercise that GPS will be enabled.
