Versa 4 not loading sleep data

Hello! I have a versa 4 that is no longer tracking my sleep data. I wear it overnight and sync my data in the morning and just get a "No data" message in the sleep section. It used to display when I first started using the device, not sure what changed.

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

A warm welcome to the forums @MoreBitThanFit.

Thank you for sharing the details about this difficulty that you are experiencing with your Versa 4.

I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Additionally, I'd recommend to sync your Versa 4 to the app after waking up. This will help to make sure that all your data is sync properly.

Also, note that your time asleep is calculated by subtracting your time spent awake and restless from your overall tracked sleep time. For example, if you slept 8 hours but woke up 2 times for 15 minutes each, your time asleep would be 7 hr 30 min.
