Just received replacement Versa 4 and got latest update during setup. Once set tried adding breakfast foods. Logged 1st food with correct calories. When I add 2nd food, it drops the previously logged info. Cannot load more than one food. Uninstaller Fitbit software and reinstalled. Still not working. Software problem on your part.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.
I'm having the same issue this morning without new device. I'm unaware of any updates, but it may have updated in the background. Was working yesterday. Today, I log a coffee, logs fine, then I log collagen protein, and that logs, but the coffee disappears.
Best AnswerI've also had this problem since about seven hours ago and it still hasn't resolved itself. I've cleared cache, force stopped the app, re-installed and logged back in to my fitbit account. I've even factory reset it which didn't fix anything. Does anyone know if there's a way to track calories and input the data through the desktop site?
Best AnswerI've spoken to support via chat. Asked me to do simple things they always do (I'd already done them all), and then promptly said, "this is a known issue and we are working to resolve it." Gave me an ETA of next Friday 12 December. I assume we'll all be reimbursed our fees pro-rata. 🫠
How you can possibly release a fitness app update without testing the major function of calorie and macro-tracking is beyond me... This is probably our lot in life from now on since Google has purchased the app, but clearly doesn't give a crap about it.
Best AnswerSame here! I do not have a new device and the catalog was working just fine earlier this morning. This evening, it stopped. It would show a new food item for a few seconds then disappear. I updated the app and my phone. Must be a new bug.

It's not about new Versa4, it's the Google server issue affecting many (all?) customers on Android and iPhone.
when disconnected from the internet, food/calorie log "works". The moment my phone is connected to the Internet, all food entries entered since morning of Dec 14 get erased.
Google couldn't fix it in 24 hours, maybe they are busy with a bigger issue (security breach?).
Best AnswerHello, same here. issue started yesterday for me (12/5 arounn noon time US EST). I reached out immediately to the Customer support. they opened a ticket. Also, I noticed this issue is captured in the Fitbit Status Dashboard : https://status.fitbit.com/. So I believe tech team should be aware of it.
For me, it is a major issue: what is the purpose of fitbit app if we can no more log our calories!!! I really hope they will fix it quickly or at least provide us an Estimated Time when it will be fixed
For users with this issue, I will encourage them to send a ticket to fitbit support in order they prioritize resolution for this major defect: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en
Thanks
Best AnswerSeems to been fixed overnight.
Logged everything from yesterday and it's holding, and today's stuff logging so far. Fi gets crossed.
Side note: pretty bloody impressed with myself. Hit perfect macros without tracking throughout the day!
