Versa 4 not logging hourly activity

Recently my Versa 4 has not logged some hourly activity. The watch shows the correct number of hours but the app doesn't. This is getting very frustrating. What's the point of having a Fitbit if the app isn't accurate. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
