Versa 4 not receiving notifications

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I can’t seem to get my notifications to come through on the Fitbit Versa 4 . I’ve updated my phone I’ve updated the watch I factory reset the watch 3 times, I’ve logged out I’ve logged in I’ve disconnected both Bluetooth and the watch from the app and I can’t get it to work. I’ve tried everything. The watch rings when my phone does but that’s about it. Someone please help.

Hi @Ian1404!  Welcome to our community forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not receiving notifications. I appreciate all the steps you have tried before contacting us.

Please confirm that all the requirements below are met on both your mobile device and the app:

  1. Are notifications enabled on your Versa 4? Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the quick settings icon and Make sure Do Not Disturb and Sleep modes are turned off.
  2. Does your phone have Do Not Disturb disabled?
  3. Do you have your app allowed to run in the background?
  4. Please confirm that Power Saver is not enabled on your phone as this feature disables Bluetooth. Phone Settings / Battery / Power Saving Mode
  5. Make sure your phone receives notifications when it's locked. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications / Notifications on Lock Screen.

Once you've verified the requirements, please take a look at the following article and try the troubleshooting steps. If you have an iPhone, you will find a section with tips to receive the notifications: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device

Hi @Ian1404 - in addition if you have an iPhone it may be related to an app bug, have you tried putting the phone into English (us)?
