Versa 4 not syncing indoor workouts properly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am using the Versa 4 to sync with TrainingPeaks to track my trainingplan.

It worked like a charm for a long time, but since the last firmware update I noticed that anything without GPX points (ie all indoor workouts) do not sync properly. Opening the file, it is essentially empty.

This was not the case before the last update, where TrainingPeaks could read non-GPS workouts perfectly.

Please fix... as it is, the Versa 4 has become pretty much useless to me.

Edit: And since getting rid of the webbased dashboard, I can't even easily try to export and view the recorded data myself, only on the app, which, as far as I could see, does not do exports...

To clarify, THIS is what the exported and synched workouts used to look like:

THIS is what they look like now:

So, it's not as the Strava sync, which never worked, but definitely something that broke in the last update (note that I didn't update the firmware as soon as the update was available, precisely because I feared stuff like this might happen)

I can sadly confirm that i have the same problem on Sense 2. The only solution is using fittostrava to download tcx than importing it manually. But this is crap, please fix it

I can confirm that I have the same issue since the last update.  Very frustrating.  This should have been fixed weeks ago.  Please fix it.  I use Garmin devices for my cycling, I am starting to look for a Garmin device to replace my Versa 4, unless this issue can be fixed.

Not happy 😞

I have the same issue.

TrainingPeaks only receives my runs.

TrainingPeaks used to receive all my activity data recorded with Fitbit to see my complete training hours, which is very helpful to see for my recovery. It would be amazing to have the data back.

Well, add me to the frustrated user list with a useless Versa 4 that I just bought 2 months ago, if that.  I've been reading on fitbit issues lately and it appears that since fitbit was sold to Google, then the existing fitbit app, and any associated problems will not be fixed.  Maybe Google is working on an app that will allow you to sync your workouts.  But as of now, it looks like we are out of luck.
