Versa 4 power button not turning device off

When I press the power button on the left hand side, by fitbit will no longer turn the screen off. It is toggling between the home screen and a screen that says recent. I talked to customer support and they were not able to assist. Has anyone else experienced this? The screen will not turn off until it times out in about 10 seconds. Any advice would be appreciated!

I purchased the Versa 4 as an upgrade from my Versa 2 about a month ago and have regretted it every day. It seems to be one problem after another.

Hi @BM2022 - unfortunately using the button to turn off the display is a feature removed from this watch.

You can set the display timeout to 6s or annoyingly have to place your hand over the watch face or lower your wrist to blank the display.
