Versa 4 steps not counting in app

on January 6 my versa four showed10,269 steps just before midnight. On January 7, when I checked the app I was only credited with 8805 steps. This is not the first time this has happened. Can anyone assist in Explaining how and why this happens and if there is a solution? Thank you.

Same, I think it's done an update as it started auto tracking my walk, which I had turned off previously.  Just realised now that the last 2 days, although I was over 10000 steps on the watch, the app is showing 9000ish.  WHY??  All syncing and bluetooth turned on, it never used to do this!

Happened again yesterday. 3 times in the past week.  Today I took a photograph of my Versa 4 when it reached 10,000 steps and will do the same on the pp before midnight.

Its an embarrassment to a major company.

This thing has become a joke product.  I really liked my fitbit one....iI could stick it in my pocket and not worry about it. Now I have to wear a watch all day,something I would prefer not to do...I'm retired....I don't need to always know the time.

Might be time to invest in a $29.99 pedometer.

Same issue.FB keeps losing steps. All my manually logged activities are also not saving. FB support says it is a known issue and are working on it. Everything worked fine when they had the webased dashboard. The app change over has been a joke.
