Versa 4 stopped syncing with my Galaxy S25

In the last week my Versa has stopped syncing to my galaxy s25 several times as has my wife's with hers.  Only way to get it working is to reboot both the watch and the phone. Never had this problem before. Help!

Sorry I can't help, but I can expand on the problem. Same thing with my Versa 4 and Galaxy S-24 Ultra.  Last week I noticed it hadn't synced in like 7 days.  By removing and adding it back to my app, I got it to sync.  Today it's gone down again, no sync and nothing is working to get it back.  I went so far as to factory reset the watch in hopes that might help, but nothing.  My phone doesn't see the watch, my bluetooth enabled pc doesn't see the watch.  The app sees it and now says I need to update firmware, but that fails every time.

I suspect a problem on Fitbit's end after seeing your post.  Good luck!

Same here!  But with Versa 4.  Just recently, it keeps dropping Bluetooth connectivity. I reboot and it connects, only to drop again!

Mine is also a Versa 4.  Called support.  They had me do a factory reset. Complained that I would lose unsynced data.  They claimed I wouldn't.

Took about 5 hours and several attempts to get it to reconnect and update the watch. Ensure Versa 4 is on the charger and has a charge of at least 50% before attempting!

LOST UNSYNCED DATA!

If it happens again, I plan to return the watches, which are only about 3 months old.

Well, glad I joined community to see it's not just me.  What is going on?

When I notice it hasn't synced, I restart my phone and it syncs. I've been doing this for at least a couple of weeks now.

Hello MarcyK61. I feel the need to reply to your above post. I have been the proud owner of the Fitbit Versa 4 since they first came out approximately four years ago. Apart from removing it for charging and cleaning it's had continual use. Unfortunately, a week ago it decided to retire. I have purchased another Fitbit Versa 4 which has improvements. I hope you are having a better experience with your Versa 4 now. A friend of mine also has the same Versa 4.  If hers doesn't work well she leaves it off then tries again and it corrects itself. She doesn't reboot it etc. We just make sure to do the software Updates.

Good luck

I've been having the same issue, but it seems as if its coming from the fitbit app. I have tried restarting the watch and factory resetting it and it doesnt sync. Only when I uninstall and then reinstall the fitbit app. This is getting annoying!

Thank you for this post! I just uninstalled / reinstalled the app and my fitbit started syncing again. At least for now.

I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled numerous times over the past month.  This does get it to sync, but within a day or two, I’m doing it again!  Shouldnt be this hard! 😡

I’ll add that this is not my first fitbit.  Ive been with fitbit (various products) for about 5 years, so i know the canned, step by step lip service drill the customer service folks are giving.  Very annoying!
