Versa 4 stopped tracking my sleep score

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought my Versa 4 last Wednesday. She posted my sleep scores on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and now she calculates my sleep without giving me a score. For example, I can see that I was awakened once and agitated 21 but I don't see my deep sleep, my paradoxical sleep, my restoration, and my sleep time

Hi there, @MissV304. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4.

I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Hope this helps.

Hi Marra I have similar issue. Have had Fitbits since 2017 and never before. Bought new Versa 4's for myself and husband, we have been wearing since 12/18/2022, 24/7. Neither of us is getting sleep scores, our previous Charge 5's did. We follow all advice in previous post.

Everything else working on his. Mine doesn't give me hourly notifications to move though, his gives him these notifications. I have set them up in the app, I'm getting Fitbit reminders to sleep so notifications in general must be on. What more to do? Getting these notifications is one of main reasons I wear Fitbit.

Thank you for any help!

I wear my watch in the same way as the first 3 days. Always at the same width of the wrist and substantially at the same height. Why did the recording work on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and subsequently stopped working? The hours recorded since then do not necessarily reflect the time I actually slept. Would it be defective? Is there a form of guarantee when it does not seem to work? The sleep analysis was the main reason why I chose the reverse 4. I liked the application interface and its simple way of explaining however for 4 days I have been quite disappointed.

Agree, I'm doing everything as I have always done for years and my sleep is not being recorded. Updated phone, updated app, even reverted app to default, made sure paired, turned Bluetooth on and off, reset phone to default, checked not on airplane mode, notifications enabled. Seems to be limited to sleep tracking and reminders to move
