Dear Fitbit Support Team,
I am seeking assistance with my Fitbit Versa 4, which is currently non-functional. The device shows the Fitbit logo, followed by a red X, and then turns off or goes blank.
I have already attempted the following steps:
Charged the device using a wall adapter continuously for over 24 hours
Performed multiple force restarts by holding the side button
Attempted restarts while charging
Waited to see if a setup code or firmware screen appears — but nothing does
In addition to this, I am unable to connect the device to the Fitbit app, and thus, I am unable to update the firmware. The app does not recognize the device or prompt a setup/update.
Unfortunately, all efforts have been unsuccessful, and the device remains stuck in this state.
Kindly advise on the next steps to resolve this issue. If this requires a firmware reinstallation, service, or replacement, I would appreciate your guidance.
Thank you for your support.

I am having the exact same problem. Can’t seem to find any advice that helps. This only happened after I converted to a Google account

I'm having the same problem. I've spent hours trying all the "fixes" mentioned here and on YouTube and nothing works. I'm so annoyed with fitbit!

It's incredibly frustrating. I've been without it for a week and have just decided to purchase a Garmin. I've had three fitbits over the years and I'm fed up with them. My current one was only 18 months old and I don't have time to spend hours trying to fix it once a month
