Versa 4 stuck on the Fitbit logo

My versa 4 was working fine until I did the update on four days ago. Now I only have the blue fitbit logo on the screen. I attempted a factory reset twice, but once I get to the point where I have to "update" via the app the watch reverts back to the logo. Since it appears the update is required, what do I have to do to get it working again.

Hi there, @swedeswan. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is stuck on the Fitbit logo. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As per the description of your post, it seems like you tried performing a factory reset but it didn't take place. That would explain why your Versa 4 is still stuck on the Fitbit logo. With that being said, I'd recommend trying the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.

If you can't get started with your Versa 4, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
