I’ve had this Fitbit for just over a month and so far not really impressed.. it won’t download on to my phone, the battery life is hours rather than days and the day/date will not correct

anyone else having similar problems please .. thanks

Hi @Barkersmum  - it sounds like a faulty watch, if you aren't using the GPS and can be replaced under warranty.

But a couple of things to try because it can be a firmware or just a syncing issue.

Make sure you have the latest firmware.

Turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices, phones tablets etc.

Restart the watch.

Remove your watch from the phone's Bluetooth.

Logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Login again and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts .

Pull down on the watch face to do a manual sync, if that doesn't show progress on green status bar at the top after a few minutes, click on profile photo and "+ Set up a Device" and replace.

Hi there, @Barkersmum. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issues with your Versa 4.

In addition to the steps that @Guy_ has recommended, please follow the steps below:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

As for the battery drain, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

My battery dies in a day instead of 4-5 and my time is frozen on my face.
