My versa 4 is only a few weeks old. Several times I try to use the touchscreen to do things like turn off my alarm, or stop exercise mode but the touch screen does not respond. This morning I took the watch off and connected it to the charger and that finally triggered the touch screen to work. It’s super frustrating. I’ve tried long pressing the button on the side but the watch doesn’t power down, and the screen remains unresponsive. Any other suggestions as to what’s going on?

Hi there, @GillianC61. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the touchscreen of your Versa 4 is still not working. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
In addition to the restart you've done, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Lastly, please make sure that your new Versa 4 is already up-to-date.

ok I’ve reset my versa 4. I also notice that an icon pops up when I’m having this issue of a phone with a line through it. I’m guessing that means my Fitbit app is not synching with my phone. So I forced the update this morning and then my touch screen seemed to be working. We’ll see what happens today! Thank you for your help.
