I have a Versa 4 that was purchased in November 2023, according to the terms and conditions it has a 2yr warranty as it was purchased in the UK and I reside in the UK.
Anyway... Recently my Versa 4 has started to power off randomly even though there is apparently plenty of charge in the battery. The only way to power the watch back on again is to connect it to the charging cable, and once it has fully booted up it shows a charge capacity of anywhere between 50% and 80%.
I have done a restart and a full factory reset and a reinstall of the latest firmware, numerous times, and the problem still persists. I have a feeling the battery management system (BMS), the routine that monitor charge and discharge, has become corrupted and the updated firmware does not address this.
Has anyone had the same issue and had a satisfactory resolution or is my Versa 4 destined to be electronic landfill?
