While scrolling (particularly noticeable when setting a time for an alarm) my versa screen goes black (turns off) and I have to press the side button to turn it back on. I’ve had it about 6 months and it’s always done this. Any ideas on how I can fix it? Or is it a fault and needs replacing?

Hi @ZoeZ93 - if you cover the screen completely with the palm of your hand the display should go off.
The sensor that detects this may be overly sensitive or there may be a corruption in the OS that causes it.
What you can try is setting the screen timeout to 60s in the watch settings and then covering parts of the screen with something solid and not transparent to see if it blanks too easily. If it blanks with just a small area covered it most likely has a fault.
You can get it replaced under warranty but may receive a refurbished watch that might have other problems in some cases.

Hi there, @ZoeZ93. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I find your Versa 4's behavior kind of odd. We're here to help!
As a first approach, please follow the tips and recommendations provided by @Guy_.
Additionally, I'd recommend restarting your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If none of that works, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
