Hi @Cindi_K - pull down on your watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn on Do not disturb is the easiest for a temporary solution to stop notifications.
For a more permanent solution, in the Fitbit App, go to the device configuration page and select Notifications, and there you can selectively disable things, and also in App notifications.

Hi there, @Cindi_K. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and for the details provided in your post. We're here to help you!
As @Guy_ has suggested, to turn off notifications you can go to your dashboard on the Fitbit app > Tap on your profile picture > Tap on Versa 4 > Tap Notifications and go to E-mail, Text, Calls notifications and you'll see the option to disable them.
If you'd like to temporarily disable all notifications, you can also turn on the Do Not Disturb Mode on the settings app of your Versa 4.
