Versa 4 will not pair with phone app

After last update the Fitbit app it won't show my goals or display steps and history and will only show partial histories or activities in the other categories after many tries to reload the app and sync them I rebooted my Versa 4 and now it is just stuck in how to add device with the last statement "We're here to help" nothing is working. this watch is just a year old. I will jnot be buying another Fitbit this is my fifth tracker. Can anyone help?

Thank you so much for letting us know that your Versa 4 won't show your goals, your step history and won't let you pair it with your phone. 

Have you already checked if you can update the Fitbit app? This week a new version of the Fitbit app was released.

I have tried all of the suggested steps multiple times and check every other day to see if my Bluetooth will locate my watch to no avail. The only thing I haven’t done is delete my account and start from square one. I’ll be 76 and I really don’t think I should loose my history of over 11 years. I have been with Fitbit since 2007 started with just a step tracker, now I’m just plain sad😢
