Versa 4 won't charge

My Fitbit versa 4 charger disconnects and reconnects when I charge it so it is not charging

I have this same issue today with my Versa 4. My device is down to 37% so it is not complete dead.  It appears to be working, counts my step, heart rate, etc. I tried the charging cord (original that came with device) in three different power blocks, one separate usb port and three different power strips/outlets.  I've left the device on the charger for over an hour.  It has not moved above 37%.  How can I tell if I am having device issue or the charging cable is bad?  I have also clean the back of the device and the cable connections per the instruction on Fitbit website.  I would appreciate your assistance.  Thank you.  Marie Titus
