I returned my Versa 4 today.
GPS connected only once in a week of trying. Multiple other times, it “failed to connect” even though I start my runs from the exact same place.
The Versa 4 developed the habit of shutting down and then restarting without any input from me.
Other times I would get a large red :cross_mark: on the screen.
Many of the apps like “find my phone, alarms”could not be found, even though they are shown to be installed on my phone.
I fought this for a week. I contacted Fitbit support regarding the GPS problem but they could not help. They said I would get a call back from someone more technical in one to two days but that call never came.
Maybe I just had a lemon, but based on the number of complaints in this forum, I think there are some systemic issues.
I have gone back to my old reliable Versa 2

Hello @Curt54
I find it quite interesting that you experienced a Red X on your screen as well: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-4/3rd-large-Red-X-on-my-screen-since-purchase/m-p/5252290#M559
🤔 Did you also experience the clock screen overlapping with another screen (like the weather) and the screen frozen in that state?

I would only notice the red x when the Versa vibrated. The red x would then be replaced by the Fitbit start logo and the Vers would restart.

My red x appeared after the Versa 4 vibrated as well @Curt54 but I have to manually restart it….it never restarted on its own.
