Versa 4 won't sync with my iPad Pro

App installed on latest IPad Pro. Unable to sync Versa 4. Connected tracker to power source. Still won’t sync. Don’t have any issues syncing my original tracker bought years ago. This is very frustrating.

Hi there, @Maryncalvn. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 4. I understand how you must be feeling.

As @Talahthas has pointed out, please make sure that your old Fitbit device is no longer paired to your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings (in case you have been using the iPad Pro with your old Fitbit device as well). To properly do this, please follow the steps below:

  • Unpair your new Versa 4 and old Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your new Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.

@Maryncalvn Welcome back to the Fitbit community!

In order to pair and sync your Versa 4 with the Fitbit app, you first have to remove your Alta HR from the app as you you only can have one Fitbit device paired at a given time.

@MarreFitbit   @Talahthas   You are both incorrect when you say that you can't have a the Alta HR and a Versa 4 on an account at the same time.  The Alta HR doesn't have the Fitbit Gallery.  You can't have two Gallery devices at the same time.  I have a second Fitbit account and I use it to test devices side by side.  Right now I have a Luxe and a Charge 2 on it.

@Maryncalvn   Is your iPad Pro your only device or do you have an iPhone, too?  If you sync to an iPhone, your Fitbit makes a tight Bluetooth bond with your phone.  You can only sync to one device.
