Versa 4 won't track my sleep data accurately

My Versa 4 is doing the same thing. It will be spot on for 4 or 5 nights, then miss half the night, sometimes taking out 3 or 4 hours in the middle of the night. I wear my watch and snug. I've jumped through the hoops that support had me do but it doesn't help.

Hi, @Ravenspurn. Welcome on board. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2.

If you're not getting accurate heart rate readings, please see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

Hi there, @Tcupchain. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and already trying to troubleshoot the inconvenience with your Versa 4.

I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, make sure you've wore your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

I've moved your post to the Versa 4 board for organization purposes.

I am having a similar issue.
The Versa 4 is not picking up my heartrate as consistently as the Versa 2, or Blaze were.
I am getting results of around 4 hours.

Cheers.
