Yesterday, I took a spinning class for 45 minutes and completed over 6 miles. However, Versa 4 only calculated approximately 3500 steps. I wore the Versa like I normally wear and did nothing different. Any solution to this?

How many steps did you walk or run while spinning? Fitbit looks for arm motions and with the hands on the handle bars. The arm movement is not the same as when walking. Fitbit doesnt try to count how many times the pedal rotated or the imaginary distance traveled. The steps that counted comes from vibrations.
Note that some users want every pedal couned, while others want steps counted as if the distance was walked, then we have the group that want steps disabled during spinning and bikeing.
