Versa 4 won't turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

About a week ago my versa 4 stopped working. When I plug it in to charge it occasionally vibrates and I get the red X when I try to turn it on.

I have tried to force a restart and nothing happens. If it is on I can't tell because the screen is black

On occasion my fitbit app tries to pair with the watch and even gets to the point where it asks me to enter the 4 digit code on my screen but I can't see it because the screen is black and/or the watch isn't actually on.

I hope this makes sense.

The watch is just over a year old and too expensive for it to have stopped working already.

Hi there, @andrrea123. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 stopped working. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Versa 4. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.

I did this and it did not work.

Part of the problem is that I don't feel the vibration. When I do and I try to reset as you described the screen gives me the red X and then goes blank.

What other options do I have?

I'm having the same issue. My Versa 4 was running great until yesterday, it just turned off and I can't get it to respond no matter what I try. Watch is a little over a year old and too expensive to replace every year.
