Versa 4 won't update

On the Fitbit app on my iPhone it says there is an update on my Versa 4. I go through to the update, agree to the terms and then get the screen telling me to charge my Fitbit, keep my phone nearby and that it will take 10 minutes, (all of which I've done) but when I click the button to 'update' at the bottom right of my iphone screen, it doesn't do anything. The screen just stays there with the option to 'update' or 'not now'.

Hi,

I’ve tried restarting both my Fitbit and my phone, but it still isn’t working. I don’t have another device to test with—just a desktop computer—and I can’t see any option there to perform the update. The update appears as available on my screen, but when I tap the “Update” button, nothing happens.

Do you have any other suggestions I could try?

Hi there, @RCVersa4. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not updating. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, please try the following:

  1. Turn your tracker off and on again using the instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Restart your phone, and retry the update.
  3. Log in to your Fitbit account on a different device, and retry the update.

My Fitbit Versa 4 and the Fitbit are acting oddly, also.
