I know you can reply to a text message using voice to text, but can you start a message using the feature? I have tried and it says messaging with Alexa is not supported on this device (Versa 4) and to use the app instead, which makes NO sense if you're trying to hands free text. I wanted to upgrade from the Versa 3 to 4 to have the physical button back, but I feel like other than that, the whole device is a downgrade. No Google assistant, despite it being owned by Google now, no Find my Phone feature, No Spotify... having to download extra apps like Alexa just to be able to use features... not impressed at all

Hi @Jen_hol - yes the Versa 4 doesn't have all the features of the Versa 3 or such a complete and stable operating system.

However it can download find my phone, it's the only app that's not preloaded.

What you can do with replies can be limited if you have an iPhone.
