Weather app won't update on my Versa 4

The weather app on my Versa 4 is not functioning. It says No data yet. Sync watch and check phone for internet or Bluetooth issues. I find no issues. Have restarted watch. Have restarted phone (Apple SE 2020). Have force-quit the app. Everything syncs and stats are fine. But no weather. Any suggestions?

For the weather app on your Versa 4 to work, the Fitbit app needs privileges for location services. Please check whether or not these are allowed for the Fitbit app on your iPhone.

I have tried to fix it too but nothing works. Funny thing, it was there the first week or so I had the Versa 4.

Hi @glrob54  @ConGun - also make sure you have the latest Fitbit App version and that the watch is syncing fully.

I have had the same issue since I hot my Versa 4. Never been able to have weather. I have switched from iPhone to android.  All permissions are enabled.  And have the most up-to-date version of the app. The skin temperature doesn't work and I also have issued with responding to texts. Any thoughts on that?

Hi @Bex8111 - changing phones can create an issue. Make sure your watch Bluetooth entries are removed from your old phone and it is off ideally.

Then try logout of the Fitbit App on Android and restart both watch and phone .

I have had the same issue since I got my watch and it never worked. I really regret getting this watch. Wish I could return it. Constant issues.

The watch is crap for Androids it seems.  I have an android and the weather has never worked,  I am no longer receiving text messages, the heart rate is totally off, and email notifications are so inconsistent. I've tried resetting the watch and even uninstalling and starting over. Just issue after issue. I wish I could return the watch!

I have already done all of that twice. The reason I switched an android is even more things didn't work with the iPhone. I have had nothing but issues with various different with Versa 4, I am very disappointed and will not spend anymore money on a Fitbit devices in the future.

@Bex8111 Sad to hear about your negative emotions concerning your Versa 4. The only known general issue of the ones you mentioned is a software related problem with tracking the baseline temperature as the thermal sensor itself is reading variations in skin temperature during sleep.

But, as you're having that much trouble, I'd suggest directly contacting Fitbit support to see what they can do for you:

I ended up going to Fitbit support. It is now working and I THINK the key was checking Location Services and making sure it was always on and not just on when I was exercising. I THINK. It took a little while but it's been OK the past few days.
